Welcome Student Physician Hanlon!
Sam is a third-year medical student from the University of New England interested in pursuing orthopedics and/or sports medicine. He grew up in Sharon, MA and did his undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont, earning a B.S. in Chemistry. While at UVM, Sam played with the Ultimate Frisbee team, traveling around the country playing in tournaments and worked on campus as an undergraduate TA in chemistry. Following graduation, he worked as a medical scribe in family medicine, orthopedics, and emergency medicine while also participating in medical service trips to Leogane, Haiti with the program YourStory International before starting medical school. During his free time, Sam likes to play ultimate frisbee and other pickup sports, lift weights, snowboard, and play video games with friends.
