Welcome Harrison McCumber
/Welcome to our new Tufts CAP student, Harrison McCumber who will be with us once a month over the next year.
Here's a brief ditty about him:
Harrison grew up in Benicia, California with his parents and younger brother. He went to the
University of California, Davis where he majored in biological science. Harrison has spent time
working for the National Student Leadership Conference and volunteering for the Muscular
Dystrophy Association, which has inspired his love for teaching and working with a pediatric
population. Outside of medicine, Harrison loves art and the outdoors, which both play a role in
shaping his motivation to preserve the health and humanity of others.
Community is something that has always been incredibly important in my life and after seeing
the thriving community Maine Track has built, I knew that it was something I wanted to be a part
of and would mold me into the kind of doctor that I am determined to become.
