Sam is a third-year medical student from the University of New England interested in pursuing orthopedics and/or sports medicine. He grew up in Sharon, MA and did his undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont, earning a B.S. in Chemistry. While at UVM, Sam played with the Ultimate Frisbee team, traveling around the country playing in tournaments and worked on campus as an undergraduate TA in chemistry. Following graduation, he worked as a medical scribe in family medicine, orthopedics, and emergency medicine while also participating in medical service trips to Leogane, Haiti with the program YourStory International before starting medical school. During his free time, Sam likes to play ultimate frisbee and other pickup sports, lift weights, snowboard, and play video games with friends.

/Nick is a 3rd year medical student at the University of New England. He grew up in Weymouth, Massachusetts and completed his Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Masters of Science in Anatomy at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. While in DC, he worked as an EMT and Emergency Department technician. He also played on the GW Men's Ice-Hockey team throughout his undergraduate and graduate years. During his free time, he enjoys playing hockey, hiking, swimming, and exploring all of the hidden gems that Maine has to offer.

Student Physician Farrell will be joining us from 03/29/2021 - 04/23/2021. Here’s a little ditty about her:
“My name is Cassandra Farrell and I am currently a 3rd year medical student from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. I am from Binghamton NY originally, but am leaning towards becoming a Mainer for the future of my career in family medicine! Outside of school I enjoy painting/arts & crafts, traveling, skiing, and getting outside whenever I can.”
