Megan is a 4th-year Doctor of Pharmacy student at Husson University from Guilford, ME. She graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor’s in biology, and worked briefly as a microbiologist before pursuing her passion for medicine and community connection through a career in pharmacy. In her free time, Megan enjoys hiking, skiing, hunting, and traveling with friends and family.
Welcome Katie Polakowski, OMS-III
/We have the pleasure of hosting Student Physician Polakowski, who comes to us by way of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, from January 1, 2021 through January 29, 2021.
“My name is Katie Polakowski and I am a third-year medical student at the University of New England's College of Osteopathic Medicine. I grew up in the Burlington, Vermont area and went to college at Stonehill where I studied Biochemistry and ran varsity track and field. Outside of school, you can usually find me in the weightroom (I've been lifting since I was 8!) or in the kitchen cooking up some healthy and delicious meals. In my future career in medicine, I hope to help encourage patients to be their healthiest and happiest selves.”
